I love this day! I think it is such a blessing to be able to devote an entire day telling your friends and family how much they mean and how much you love them. It was a great day! Ryleigh had a party at school and ate too much sugar. Unfortunately, both Craig and I had to work and in separate places, no less. We did celebrate with a nice dinner last night. I even "cooked" if you can count cracking a crab, preparing an h'ors doevre tray and dipping strawberries in chocolate cooking. I swear a domestic diva, I am not :)! It was still a lovely evening. Ryleigh doesn't have school next week, so now the big discussion is whether to try to go down and visit Auntie Rachael, stay at camp, or come to Truckee while Mommy works. Next year, I think I want to go to Hawaii :).
